Private Catamaran Cruise to Ile aux Cerf from Pointe Jerome

Arriving at Pointe Jerome at 09.00 A.M, you will meet the freshverde representative and you will board to your Catamaran to enjoy this memorable catamaran cruise from Pointe Jerome to Ile Aux Cerfs.

Duration: 15 minutes

The catamaran will then sail inside the crystal clear water of the lagoon until stopping for a snorkeling and swimming break.

Snorkelers will have a lot to discover. You will get a glimpse into the beauty of our world underwater. You will get to see the amazing marine life, full with hundreds of bright-colored fish, is home to some of the world’s most breathtaking coral reefs and marine life ever to be seen.

After the snorkeling, you will enjoy a full delicious BBQ lunch buffet set on the beach or on the catamaran. Please note that the menu includes only fresh fish, fresh chicken, and a selection of fresh salads (rice salad and mixed salad). For dessert, you will be offered fresh local fruits, followed by coffee. If you are a vegetarian, please advise us before, so we can arrange the necessary additions to the lunch.

After lunch the catamaran will cruise into the canal between the Isle aux Cerfs and the world class sanctuary of Anahita before visiting the Grand River South East Waterfall.

The Grand River South East is the longest river in Mauritius and this spectacular waterfall is close to the mouth. The waterfall at GRSE is one of the east coast’s most popular attractions after Île aux Cerfs.

Then, when reaching the Grand River, you will go by speed boats to visit the waterfalls which are found about 500m upstream. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the curious monkeys jumping through the big old trees on the river banks. Watch the Mauritian fruit bats resting perched on the highest trees as you approach the waterfall. Following the visit to the waterfall, you will head back to the catamaran.

Then, you will be heading to Ile aux Cerfs Island which is a beautiful island near the east coast of Mauritius. This amazing island is the perfect setting for a relaxing day of sun worship. As you approach the island by boat, you will see the swaying palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters.

At Ile aux Cerf, there are a variety of invigorating activities are awaiting you such as parasailing, tube riding, and undersea walk.

After doing your activities, you can take a stroll and absorb the pristine natural environment, sit back and relax on the white sandy beaches. On Ile aux Cerfs Island you are sure to have some relaxation and fun on one of the picture-postcard beaches or enjoy a swim and/or snorkel in the azure sea.
